Legal basis
The notice on cookies is based on the amended Law on Electronic Communications (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 109/2012, shortened to ZEKom-1) that entered into force at the beginning of 2013 and that brought about new rules regarding the use of cookies and similar technologies in order to store or access information stored on the computer or the mobile device of a user.
What are cookies and why do webpages need them?
A cookie is a small text file that is transferred to the computer of the user when they visit a webpage. A cookie usually contains:
- the name of the server used to send the cookie;

The cookie itself does not contain or collect information. However, if a server reads the cookie together with the webpage, it can help the webpage implement user-friendly services, for example by remembering previous purchases or data contained in the account of the user. A cookie can only be read and used by the server that sent it.
On a trustworthy webpage, such cookies can enrich the user’s experience. However, cookies can also be used in a way that constitutes an intrusion into the privacy of an individual. Cookies can be stored for different lengths of time – only for the duration of the browser session, or much longer.
Which cookies do we use on our webpage and why?
On our webpage, we only use cookies that are allowed in accordance with the ZEKom-1. We only use cookies that are necessary in order for this webpage to function. To record statistics of webpage visits, we use a system that only records the cookie of the session and does not follow your further actions on the webpage or in relation to other webpages. If you continue to use this webpage, you agree with the use of the cookies described hereinafter.
